Headquartered in Luxembourg, we maintain offices in Alicante, Ibiza, Menorca, Valencia and Marbella. Established in 1989, Azur has worked in the sector of property development and sales for 30 years in Spain, Italy and Canada. Following the economic crisis in Spain, Azur began the development of its projects in the Balearic Islands, focusing on the Azur Estates brand and receiving a widespread recognition for our development capacity, having rapidly expanded with an industry leading position.
Azur Estates focuses on the high-end market segments, ranging from high-quality properties to top of the line luxury villas, and may develop other assets such as commercial complexes adjacent to the residential projects, providing ancillary services for the residents all whilst increasing the value.

We leverage the knowhow, industry relationships and network of real estate professionals, developed by our principals over 40 years, to source and secure prime assets generally “off market”. Assets are identified through our local network, which provides privileged access to proprietary deal flow.
We manage a team of in-house professionals and cooperate with leading players in the industry when needed. Architecture, engineering and project management are in-house whereas design and construction are systematically outsourced.
On a case-by-case basis, we handpick specialized partners where and if applicable in order to provide the most fitted team to each individual project. We only choose to partner with reputable and recognized players. Development risk is mitigated by a careful selection of local partners and our extensive knowhow in our traditional markets.

The majority of sales are performed through the Developer’s extensive network of international agents. The Developer has a dedicated team of professionals in charge of sales and marketing, which includes direct sales but also the oversight of the external agents. The Developer has previously entered into exclusive partnerships for the distribution of certain projects, with agencies that proved to be very successful.
Azur engages in other methods of direct marketing, via its sales offices in Alicante, Ibiza, and soon in Luxembourg, as well as through trade shows and online marketing.
Azure Estates works
Azur Estates has a wealth of experience over the years. Between 1980 and 1990 the company’s first projects were carried out, located in Torrevieja and Orihuela. It is worth mentioning the zoning of 230,000 square meters for some 1,200 homes.
Between 1990 and 2000, all the constructions were in Torrevieja, expanding to Guardamar with the construction of different apartments.
In the period 2000-2010, Azur Estates carried out its largest expansion in Spain. The company built apartments, villas and townhouses in Benijófar, Elche, Santa Pola, Mazarrón, Campillo, Cartagena and Ibiza.
Finally, from 2010 to 2020, Azur Estates’ preference has been the Balearic Islands, specifically Ibiza and Menorca. Currently, together with Lobato Group Partner, they are involved in the zoning of 300 condominiums in the ski resort of Bromont in Canada.
Since 1980, Roberto has been involved in real estate investment and development. He has more than 40 years of experience especially in Spain, but also in France, Italy and Canada, and has been directly responsible for the construction of more than 3000 properties. He was actively involved in the acquisition and development of land, including complex zoning & infrastructure projects for land conversion to residential use.
As Founder of Azur Group, he has acquired a vast experience at all levels of the development lifecycle, supervising all aspects of land acquisition,
market analysis, administrative and legal structuring, as well as supervision and coordination of architects, engineers, surveyors, solicitors and brokers.
For 23 years, he was a member of Garrigues Abogados y Asesores Tributarios in Valencia and Alicante as a tax and legal advisor (10 years as a partner in the tax department). Specialized in mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and spin-offs, with specific experience in the internationalization of Spanish companies (1989/2011).
In 2012 he joined the law firm Global Abogados, to head the tax department.
He joined Azur Estates Group in 2016 as managing director and partner of the Group to lead the real estate development in the Balearic Islands and the Mediterranean Coast
